It’s crawfish season and the people in New Orleans are used to how the rest of the country doesn’t quite get how to properly cook crawfish. But the video posted to Facebook by New Orleans native, Wayne Haydin, may be the most insane “crawfish travesty” of all time. In the video, he responds to an insane Nashville-based “crawfish boil” shown on the Cooking channel.
For the love of God people, don’t try this Cooking Channel method at home or you WILL GET FOOD POISONING (and a lot of undercooked sausage, potatoes, and corn). Ask a friend in Louisiana…or even Mississippi, Alabama or Texas if you want to do this and they will steer you right. I promise.
